As the digital world becomes a bigger part of our everyday lives, businesses and organizations need to rely more on digital services to support their business. However, many small businesses and nonprofits struggle with using these digital services to their advantage, so we help them with creating a website and marketing their organization digitally for free.
Process:
We'll meet with you to learn about your vision for the website.
After meeting with you, we will then begin the website development process and provide a time estimate until completion.
We will contact you if we need any information and keep you updated with the website progress.
If you request, we may help you with any social media publicizing (reels, flyers).
If you already have or wish to pay for a custom domain (i.e. one that doesn't end in btdorg.com) yourself, we can connect your website to that domain.
Computer Refurbishment & Donation
A significant factor to the digital divide stems from the lack of reliable access to devices that can access the Internet, which particularly affects the quality of education for many students. To overcome this, we work with companies and organizations to organize computer donations. After, we use our funds and resources to refurbish the computers and donate them to those in need.
Process:
We contact schools, company IT departments, and other nonprofits for computer donations.
After receiving computer donations, we begin the computer refurbishing process. This process entails physically cleaning the computer, ensuring that all the parts of the device are in place, and performing a software cleansing, where we remove any bloatware or viruses and reset the computer so that new users can have a fresh start with the device.
We package the device with a brochure on proper use.
We contact organizations that help those in underprivileged communities and arrange a shipment of computers for donation.
Computer Literacy & CS in STEAM
While people may have access to devices, they struggle when navigating how to properly use these devices. Through our free digital literacy program, we teach them all about using computers, from setting up a Google account to browsing the web safely. We also offer free educational programs, teaching eager students on different computer software and subjects to further delve into computer technology and all areas of STEAM.

For the computer science pathways, we have created YouTube classes on a wide range of computer science topics so those interested can explore many parts of computer science.
